Beginning in 2016 as an alpha-driven proprietary trading firm dealing in foreign exchange and commodities markets, the three founding partners observed the growing application and value of blockchain technology, and what that would mean for capital markets. The firm subsequently expanded by deploying venture capital and active trading strategies in the digital asset space.
Responding to growing challenges for high net worth and institutional customers requiring deeper liquidity and reduced counterparty risk when transacting, Zerocap’s proprietary trading setup provided the infrastructure, liquidity and banking to clear large trades, reduce risk for customers and offer an institutional bridge to digital assets.
